In a letter dated October 7, 2015 from Myron A. Brilliant, Executive Vice President and Head of International Affairs of the US Chamber of Commerce to outgoing Chairman and now Chairman Emeritus Nicholas Galt, Mr. Brilliant wrote: "On behalf of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, please accept my warmest thanks and congratulations for two-years of service as Chairman of AACCLA. You leave the institution in the strongest position it has been in since its founding 48 years ago and on a path of heightened growth and profile. Your leadership in the institution came at a critical time. AACCLA has long played a critical role in advocating for our joint vision of a hemisphere where free enterprise, competitive markets, and rules-based trade and investment are the path to opportunity and prosperity for all. Under your guidance, the AACCLA network grew in size and through its integration with the Chamber greater resources and capabilities have been brought to bear. Congratulations again on your leadership of AACCLA and I look forward to continuing to work with you in your new capacity as a member of the Chamber’s International Policy Committee (IPC).”
