Establishing the Company in 2008, Ainsley is the visionary and pivotal driver behind the Company’s success.

Under his leadership, the Company achieved the milestone of becoming the first commercially viable small-scale GTL facility in the world and the first GTL facility within the Western Hemisphere. Ainsley believes that GTL is the transition solution for hard-to-abate greenhouse gas (GHG) emitting industries. With Ainsley’s ambitious and fully achievable growth plan to creating multiple facilities globally, he envisions the company as being a significant player in the global market and doing its part in transitioning the world towards a greener space. 

An energy industry veteran and seasoned entrepreneur with more than 25 years’ experience in energy, international government relations, financing, business development, information technology and management consulting, Ainsley’s extensive career experience stems from being an entrepreneur and owner at a very young age and, as he calls it, “only doing his part to make the world a better place”. 

Through his various companies, he served as the lead development and principal consultant to several governments, IOCs and NOCs in the development of their natural gas downstream business and other key industry interest. 

Ainsley has founded several highly successful companies, including, CompuSpa Inc., which provided services to US local, state and federal agencies and The AGA Group LLC, which provided international consulting services to several governments and other entities.

As Ainsley climbed the ladder of his success, he believes in leaving a light on, a window open, and a ladder down for others to help achieve their success. He does so through his non-profit organization, Leadership Global. Leadership Global believes that by investing in our youth, we secure our future.

Ainsley is best known to his peers as the person who gets it done.

David heads up the Legal Department and is the Company’s legal and corporate governance strategist, catalyst, guardian, and advisor, at the highest levels internally and with local and international partners, complemented by a well-established global network of peers. David is a pivotal member of the Executive Team and is a vital resource for the sustainability and exponential growth of the Company within a global arena.

He leads in negotiation, execution, transaction, and achievement of all complex commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, financing transactions, international bond financing, risk management and protection, litigation matters and protects the Company’s intellectual property rights, business, and corporate standing. 

He is the Company’s go-to-expert for all corporate governance, legal management, Board Secretariat and all legal affairs of the entire Group, which includes providing legal counsel to the Board of Directors, Chairman of the Board, Group Chief Visionary Officer, Executive Team and other senior management members. 

Through 30+ years of industry expertise and intellectual knowledge in GTL, banking, insurance and financial services regulation, David has worked at the highest levels in insurance, banking, financial services regulation and energy sectors. He previously served as the  Group Chief Legal Officer & Board Secretary for the Qatar Financial Centre Authority; General Counsel & Company Secretary of an Allianz Insurance and Bonding Group and GE Capital and Morgan Grenfell (Deutsche Bank). 

David is a Member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn. Called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1988, he was shortly thereafter admitted as an Attorney of the Supreme Court of Trinidad and Tobago.  He obtained his LL.B and LL.M degrees from Queen Mary, University of London and completed his postgraduate Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law in London.

For the last two and a half years, Al has materially supported NiQuan through BD Energy Systems LLC during the construction, commissioning, and startup of the company’s GTL Facility.

Al provides critical technical oversight and technical advice on all operational activities at the Company’s GTL facility. He supports our technical team by providing guidance and technical expertise and makes recommendations to support the facility's stable commercial operations.

An engineering professional with over 40 years of international experience, Al has provided worldwide support to global organisations including BD Energy Systems LLC, Foster Wheeler, Fire Heater Division, Pennwalt Corporation, and Catalytic Inc.

Al holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University.

Roshan manages and executes corporate projects and all other strategic ventures of varying complexity and size, from inception to completion, which requires cross-functional engagement with key internal and external stakeholders. Roshan conducts, reviews, and evaluates market research and energy policy data to deliver strategic plans aimed at supporting the company’s goals.  She also manages business development opportunities and communication with various U.S. government entities. 

Roshan provides key support to the GCVO in planning and coordinating with the Executive Team to implement the Company’s strategic objectives. She is a key member of the Executive Team and leads the development of NiQuan’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs alongside Leadership Global, the Company’s non-profit partner. 

With 15 years’ experience in managing global projects, Roshan has a successful track record of delivering complex projects with multiple stakeholders in politically sensitive environments.  Formerly with The AGA Group, Roshan has worked throughout the Caribbean, Africa and the Middle East. She was responsible for the company’s political action committee, ensuring compliance with federal election regulations. 

Roshan holds a B.A. in Economics with a minor in Spanish from George Mason University and an Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Hawaiʻi Shidler College of Business.

Over her 7 year tenure, Shelly has built the Finance, IT and Procurement portfolios for the company, and performs an integral role in directing, managing and monitoring the company’s financial, procurement and IT operations business portfolios. She competently leads the company’s short- and long-term financial management by developing and implementing robust accounting strategies that align to global accounting standards, oversees reporting of quarterly and annual financial statements to the Board of Directors and Executive Team and ensures full compliance with Government agencies. 

Her key achievements have been the successful stewardship of the company’s assets and financial resources including capital assets, receivables, treasury, complex financial modelling, reporting on financial performance of the Company to the Board of Directors, and leading the optimization of local and international banking relationships.  Shelly has developed and implemented best in class operating systems, policies and procedures and controls to ensure effective co-ordination and accurate functioning and provides financial leadership on key business development opportunities. As a member of the Executive Team Shelly’s plays a pivotal role in in the Company’s strategic planning and decision-making process.

With over 15 years’  progressive experience, Shelly has worked with multinational organizations including Ernst & Young, Carisma Marketing Services Limited (member of British American Tobacco), and NovaRegal Company / Kwo-Jeng Marine Services Limited.  

Shelly is Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualified and holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University.

Quan heads up the Marketing & Logistics department and is responsible for managing the company's global marketing and logistics portfolio. Quan also creates and maintains client relationships to increase business and revenue. He has developed and manages all marketing strategies aligned with the company’s overall objectives, inclusive of logistics optimization, demand and inventory planning, and vendor and customer management.

His role has been central to the company’s success in delivering its GTL product on-spec to the off-taker efficiently and safely. Quan implemented procedures on site for maintaining pipeline integrity with relation to product delivery and quality assurance. He also led efforts with the NiQuan Plant team to develop proprietary processes to manage the safe transportation of GTL naptha, a notoriously difficult product to handle due to its’ volatility. 

He is deeply involved in marketing the company globally, at various international forums and conferences. A key member of the Executive Team, Quan develops, prioritizes, and implements strategies to achieve market penetration and collaborates at all levels across the Company.

Quan brings circa a decade of experience as a transportation fuels marketing and logistics professional.   He is a United States Air Force (USAF) veteran and served in the 100th LRS Air Refueling Unit, managing fuels logistics for the Department of Defense (DOD) at the highest levels of security as a Petroleum, Oils & Lubricant Airman. 

Quan holds an MSc Energy from City, University of London, CASS Business School, BSc in Business Management/Administration from University of Maryland Global Campus and an Associates of Applied Science (AAS) in Logistics from Community College of the Air Force.

Over her 7 years with the company, Fiona has designed, implemented, managed, and continues to grow the full suite of integrated HR processes, ensuring alignment, strategic fit and optimal delivery to the business.  Fiona translates the company’s strategic and tactical business plans into robust operational HR programs, enabling our human capital base to become, and sustain, competitive advantage within the industry.

She has been instrumental in building a diverse and inclusive culture and positioned the company as an Employer of Choice, by ensuring a progressive, diverse work environment, professional development opportunities, supported by global Enterprise systems. A key member of the Executive Team, Fiona provides significant strategic business and human capital guidance. Under the umbrella of Corporate Governance and regulatory compliance, she also holds the position of Assistant Corporate Secretary.

Fiona possesses 25+ years’ strategic and operational human resources experience including Oil and Gas, and has worked with bpTT, bhp Billiton, 2-C Trinidad Limited, Digicel Trinidad, FT Farfan, Aegis Business Solutions, ASCO Trinidad, and HRC Associates - Management Consultants and possesses an extensive HR network in oil and gas.

Fiona holds an MSc in Strategic Human Resource Management from the University of Roehampton, United Kingdom, and is a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Global Remuneration Professional (GRP); Certified Compensation Professional, Canada (CCP-C) and a Certified Agile Professional (SSGI-CAP). She also holds Certifications in Executive Leadership and Human Resource Studies from Cornell University, USA, and is a Member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), WorldatWork Society, USA, and GTA Rewards Association, Canada.
